Still Photography and Film Location Scouting The Barn and property are available for film and still photography shoots. Three film shoots have been held on site in the last year. The property is set on 4.5 acres with a diverse selection of locations, ideally suited for a variety of set-ups, both interior and exterior. Tivoli is a charming village with great restaurants including sushi, mexican, bistro, a bakery, an irish pub, pizza and more. We are 15 minutes from Rhinebeck, 10 minutes from Red Hook and there is Hudson River access 10 minutes down the road from The Barn. I am a producer; IgniVox Productions is my own company and I am in the event business thus conversant with the exigencies and needs of production. Connections to extensive local production assistance and resources are available. The Barn is two stories with an open floor plan, a semi-private sleeping loft, a spacious back deck, with outdoor shower, a balcony, a stone patio, a wood burning stove, a standard size refrigerator, a fully equipped kitchen, and sleeps 8-10 people. Good interiors for insert stage photos. Flats are available. Barn area is 1400 sq ft with dimensions 23.5" x 31.5" with ceiling height of seven foot eight inches (92") on first floor and a 13 foot ceiling on the second floor. Electric service is 100 Amp service with 8 breakers (two 50 amp, one 30 amp and five 20 amp), and a 220 outdoor outlet is available. Parking can accomodate up to 8-10 vehicles with truck clearance height of 15 feet. The exterior site of the property has both a pond and a stream. The stream has two access spots, one with a deck and another with a swimming hole. There a numerous fire pits and "outdoor rooms" on the site with stone work and gardens. No permits are required to shoot at Kathleen's Barn. The Village of Tivoli does not have a permitting protocol; communication with the Village clerk and a submission of liability insurance certificate is the procedure. Sailboats are available for potential shoots using a river location. Rates Day rate is $500 for an 8 hour day, plus $75 per hour overtime. Directions Click here for directions to the barn. Equipment Rentals All types of conveyances for river or water shots are available from sail and motor boats, kayaks, canoes; farm equipment, both antique and modern, antique cars, planes, farm animals, draft and riding horses are available for land based shooting.
